MySpace. Some tourdates for this season are announched. Gigs in Spain, Italy, Finland, Germany, Portugal, the UK and Hongary. Recently Skyclad signed a deal with Offbeat Management and a studio album is scheduled later this year. (22 July 2007) Some new tourdates in the UK. Jig-a-Jig EP available from official homepage.
| (8 July 2006) Due to money problems Skyclad's record company Black Lotus has stopped all
activities. Skyclad is yet again without a record company.
| (8 July 2006) Just received the likely last musical brightness of Martin Walkyier by mail: the first
(and last) demo CD "In the Big Ending..." of The Clan Destined. It's a pitty Martin has
stopped completely with making music, because he proves on this demo that he still has
the capability to create increadable music and lyrics. You can order your own copy here:

| (11 March 2006) New album coming this year. This will be preceded by an EP "Jig-a-Jig".
Also new tourdates are planned for the "Jig-a-Gig" tour.
| (1 May 2004) The new albums rocks! I had the luck to listen to the album already and I love it. It's most definately different. Of course I might say, a different lead-singer and thus a different lyrics writer... But damned! This album rocks! | (19 March 2004) The new album 'A Semblance of Normality' is finally finished and being printed at the moment. Release date is set for May 24th 2004.
| (19 Nov 2003) A small tour "Demolition Xmas Ball" is set for December 2003. Skyclad will play four dates together with "The Quireboys".
| (19 Nov 2003) The recordings for the new album "A Semblance of Normality" are finished. A release date is not set yet. On some of the new tracks, musicians from The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will show their talent.
| (29 Aug 2003) Preceding the new album the single "Swords of 1000 men" is re-released on September 1., 2003.
| (17 April 2003) Skyclad is currently working on their new album with the working title "a semblance of normality". Tracks recorded so far include "The Parliament of Fools", "The song of no-involvement", "Campaign", "The genius of the shire" (parts 1 and 2), "Like... (A ballad for the disenchanted)", "Anotherdrinkingsong", "Lightning the load", "The roman wall blues", "A good day to bury bad news" and "Do they mean us?". Release is scheduled for late summer 2003, to be preceded with a single and a promo video.
| (10 Jun) The "No daylights..." has been released and available from the official homepage. | Two new tourdates, one in Holland and the first in the US. The band is currently working on new tracks for a new album that will be released late fall this year. Recording will take place at the end of July or at the beginning of August. (4 Apr) Added 2 mp3s of the new album "No Daylights... Nor Heeltaps" in the sound section and added the album to the discography section. Also added the release party to the tourdates. | (15 Nov) New release date for the single "Swords of a Thousand Men", December 4th.
| (7 Nov) The single "Swords of a thousand men" will be released on 26th of November only in the UK. It will be available on the official site as well. | Skyclad is currently working on a "new" album release of reworked Skyclad classics, called "No Daylights... Nor Heel Taps". An interview by Metal UK with Martin Walkyier on October 11th with comments on his new work and leaving Skyclad. (5 Oct) The first new release for the same but different Skyclad; a single called "Swords of a thousand men". It contains 2 new version of the song and a new recording of the Widdershins Jig. | There have been some other releases as well, a live album "Another fine mess", another compilation "History Lessons" and a compilation promo in Greece "Poetic Wisdom". (20 June) A new tour is planned for the end of this year (check tourdates section). As well a new album is planned for this year.
| (21 May) Indeed Martin has left, Kevin has replaced him on vocals. Martin has returned to Sabbat, his previous band. There are some tourdates scheduled with Kevin on vocals.
| (9 Apr) Seems to be true that Martin is leaving the band and returns to Sabbat. (Not official, but 99% sure) (Excerpt of to-be-released press release)
| (20 Sep) Euro Folkémon Promo Tour: 7 gigs first week of November in Germany,
Holland, Switzerland, Hungary and France. | (2 Aug) Martin will indeed be singing on the new Cradle of Filth album on an old
Sabbat song "For Those Who Died".
| (24 Jul) The new cd Folkemon, will have 12 or 13 tracks. Of which one
instrumental and one cover (unknown).
| (13 Jul) Skyclad is going to appear on a Nuclear Blast compilation called "Death Is
Just The Beginning Vol. 6". (Song unknown yet)
| (10 Jul) Recording of the new CD is half way through. Some titles of new songs:
Think Back and Lie of England, Polkageist, Any Old Irony and You Stole My
Memory.
| (22 May) Possible release date new CD
Folkémon: 24th of October. | Possible start of European Tour: 27th of October. (11 Apr) Skyclad is at the moment recording and writing songs for the new album
"Rhymes Against Humanity". There are no tourdates scheduled for the near
future. Although there are intentions to have a European tour after the
release of the new album, around October this year.
| (10 Feb) Finally the good news is out! Nuclear Blast is the new record compagny.
The deal includes 4 normal heavy albums and gives the oportunity to
release 2 unplugged albums too. Also the new deal might finally give
Skyclad a change to play in countries they haven't visited before. The
band is now writing new songs for the new album, which has a working title
of "Rhymes Against Humanity" and is scheduled for release later this year.
| (3 Jan) The official page is up
and running. A lot of interesting stuff there. Also an unofficial
confirmation of the new record compagny, Nuclear Blast. (And I wish
everybody a happy new year! Gelukkig nieuwjaar!)

| (5 Dec) The official page is up, but not much
action yet.

| (25 Nov) A UK tour in March 2000. (No dates yet, will follow as soon as possible).
The recording of a new album is planned for April-May 2000 (although
there is no record compagny yet). Thus it won't be released before
September 2000. There might be Greek tour after the recording.
| (18 Oct) Still no new contract has been signed, but the band is currently in
contact with six record labels (unknown which).
| (2 Sept) The releases of a live cd and a video has been postponed because of the
lack of a record compagny and it would be better to release a studio cd first,
according to Graeme.
| (20 Aug) Skyclad has contact with Nuclear Blast for a few weeks now about a record
deal. (Nothing signed though)
| (17 Aug) Currently Skyclad is writing new songs and trying to get a new contract.
Skyclad themselves don't know anything about gigs in September or October.
Rumours about the ended Massacre contract say that Massacre kicked Skyclad
out and didn't want to renew the contract, because of disappointing sales.
| (21 Jul) Very good news, Skyclad is NOT splitting up. But the deal with Massacre
Records has come to an end with the release of the shape cd.
And so they are probably looking for a new company.

| (13 Jul) Seems like Skyclad is really leaving Massacre. Although they
still have to make one cd for them. (Where did I hear that before?) I
still don't know anything about the split up, Martin is surely talking
about it during concerts, but if it is true?
| (6 Jul) Some disturbing news from Germany. During a concert on 3. July,
Martin said things about ending Skyclad, because of problems again with
the record compagny. Does anyone know if this is true? Email Arnaut.

| (7 Apr) Outrages Fortunes, the bonus cd with 4 acoustic
tracks, is going to be rereleased in May, with pictures and a multimedia
track. Where to get it is unknown yet.

band wants.
| (29 Mar) Live CD! In an interview with a Dutch magazine
Aardschok, Martin mentions the
possible release of a live cd in the near future. Skyclad wants it to be a
2 CD, one normale and one acoustic cd. Not more information about this.

band.

troubles getting the cd. Cause unknown.

| (29 Sept) Graeme emailed me and told me he is working on an
official homepage himself.
| (10 June) In the future Skyclad is going to release both heavy
and acoustic albums, because the Irish Pub tour in Germany went so well.
